Strong, smooth skating defensive defenseman with some offensive upside. Needs to remain consistent on offense but has legit NHL upside with some penalty killing ability.
Joel Nystrom
Strong skater who plays big minutes for one of the better teams in the SHL. Defense is ahead of offense, but the offense has some indications that show room for growth and potential. Could play NHL games later down the line.
Dominik Badinka
Poised, mobile two-way defenseman with great retrieval and breakout ability. Work on his handling skill and ability to work the blue line could see him become a do-it-all top-four defenseman.
Theo Wallberg
High upside, big-bodied, left-shot defenseman. A solid skater with a good first pass.
Damien Carfagna
A defense-minded defenseman who skates well and can carry the puck up ice and make smart passes.
John Whipple
A left-handed, defense-minded defenseman with a strong defensive game. Rather than looking for big plays, he keeps it simple and effective. His offensive game has to develop.
Larry Keenan
A big, smooth-skating defenseman who has a heavy shot from the point.
Tnias Mathurin
A steady, reliable, defense-minded defenseman. Plays physically and will make a hit to separate his opponent from the puck.
Luke Mittelstadt
A technically sound defenseman who handles the puck well and has excellent vision. Can stretch the ice with precise passing but is limited offensively.
Jakub Fibigr
A mobile two-way defenseman who makes an impact in all three zones on the ice with good offensive instincts and playmaking ability.
