Luke Mittelstadt

August 2025 – Mittelstadt will play his fourth season at the University of Minnesota during the 2025-26 season. He could have left the NCAA and signed with the Montreal Canadiens, but he chose to wait another year before inking his entry-level contract. The 22-year-old has seen his offensive numbers fall ever so slightly every season at the University of Minnesota. Do not expect much more than another season of around 20 points during the 2025-26 campaign. A seventh-round pick, Mittelstadt will have a long way to go to fantasy relevance and will be an organizational depth defenseman to start his professional career.
