DPR Episode 59: So You want To Be A Scout, My Fantasy Draft, NCAA and Europe Players To Draft and Bob McKenzie

Peter Harling

The annual Bob McKenzie interview from the draft is here! Bob and Peter chat from the Draft in Vancouver to discuss the draft and players such as Kappa Kakko, Bowen Byram, Vasili Podkolzin as well as other fantasy impact prospects including Nikita Gusev, Ryan Poehling, debunking the Russian factor and more.

Peter starts the podcast off by talking about how you can break into the hockey industry if you have dreams of becoming a scout. While I have not realized the dream of quitting my day job, I have picked up some very useful tips that may help you get started or make a difference.

Next up is a review of my own fantasy draft where I made seven picks in a five round prospect keeper draft. Following that is a list of some players worth drafting coming from the NCAA and Europe for your own drafts.
