Left Wing

Oliver Okuliar

A skilled and shifty forward, Okuliar is an underrated talent who can work wonders with the puck on his stick. He could slot into an NHL middle six and add a mix of scoring and playmaking on a top powerplay unit if everything pans out.

Creative offensive forward who plays with a surprising amount of energy. Will need to add some weight, but could become a third-line checking winger at his best.

Gabe Perreault

Playmaking winger who plays with energy and forechecks effectively. Will have to continue to develop physically while rounding out the rest of his game but possesses top-six NHL potential.

Tyler Boucher

Boucher plays a physical game and willingly goes to the dirty areas. He has a good shot that he can get off from in tight. Boucher has the potential to evolve into a power forward at the NHL level.

High offensive instincts cannot be denied, as he always seems to be in the right spot at the right time. Solid shot and hands in tight. Not a super well rounded game, but if he gets put in a favourable situation in Ottawa with strong linemates, he could present moderate value in PPR leagues focusing on point production.

Cole Reinhardt

Limited offensive ceiling. He is a very good skater that plays responsibly in all three zones. He is a good penalty killer, but he tops out as a fourth-line checking winger in the NHL.

Mac Swanson

Undersized, intelligent playmaker who has some hurdles to climb. Needs to improve his foot speed to have a shot at the NHL. Boom-or-bust long-term project with second-line upside.
