Defensemen
Daniel Laatsch
A big, stay-at-home defenseman who plays an intelligent defensive game.
Tom Willander
Fleet-footed right-handed defenseman who excels defensively. Limited puck skills, but has second-pairing upside in the right hands.
Victor Mancini
A big-bodied right-shot defenseman with good defensive acumen who will need to polish his overall game.
Chase Pietila
A puck-moving, two-way defenseman.
Vsevolod Komarov
An offensive defender who is not particularly mobile, but uses strength in the crease defensively. Can be caught chasing plays. Has dramatically improved his offensive game since arriving in North America.
Elias Pettersson
Fluid-skating two-way blue-liner with size and a solid shot. Needs to work on his playmaking and using his body more efficiently, but projects as a second- to third-pair defenseman.
Cameron Allen
Two-way blueliner with inconsistent hockey sense who defends well and drives play from the back end. Possesses good mobility and competes hard, projecting as a potential middle-pairing defenseman at the NHL-level.
Aron Dahlqvist
A big, physical left-shot defenseman who is an excellent skater, likes to hit, and is strong on the defensive side, but lacks offensive upside.
Gustav Sjöqvist
A physical defender who is not afraid to throw a hit with a tremendous reach. Potential for a bottom-pairing defender with proper development.
