Observations
October 2025 – Capos came across the pond to skate in the NAHL in his draft year, playing a defensive game and doing so cleanly with just two penalty minutes in 21 games.
The 6-5, 216 Slovakian is known far more for his punishing body checks and defensive acumen than his offensive exploits. That he had played a style without flair across three Slovakian leagues before coming to North America in a lesser known league certainly contributed to Capos going undrafted.
He’s begun the 2025-26 season with the Wenatchee Wild of the WHL, and is committed to Western Michigan University of the NCAA next season. Whether or not Capos is a fantasy investment will remain to be seen, but he will have more eyes upon him in his D+1 season than previously.
He’s worth keeping an eye on as a draft option if Lian Bichsel has value in your league. Alex Wyatt
