An undersized defenseman who showcases strong puck-moving abilities, and disruptive defensive skills. Projects as a promising depth NHL option.
A Jack-of-all-trades defender. Good in every area of the ice. Barron isn't flashy but he is effective.
Hoefenmayer is a bonafide NHL prospect, especially in the offensive zone
Solid all-around defender plagued by injuries in his draft-eligible season. He can do a bit of everything and should be a valuable piece on any blueline.
Gleason has the potential to be a serious threat on the offensive end in the NHL with his playmaking and puck skills but will need to work on getting stronger and improving his defensive game before he can make the jump to Dallas.
A mobile, right-shot defender who can control the game in all three zones. He has all of the tools that the modern-day defender needs but concerns because he plays prep are present. If Morrow reaches his potential, there could be something special here.
Mobile rush defender with the ability (though not always the inclination) to move the puck with his feet
McCarthy plays defense pretty well and shows little offensive upside. Do not expect much going forward.
January 2025 - Johansson has taken on 20 lbs since being drafted by the Leafs in the fourth round of the 2024 draft. Don't let that growth fool you, Johansson is still somewhat undersized at 165lbs, although it's a positive step forward. He's shown improvements at both sides of the ice, now more engaged overall.
