Prospect Ramblings: Looking back on CHL Predictions
Last August I wrote a piece for DobberHockey’s The Journey discussing my predictions for the CHL season to be. With only a handful of weeks remaining in the regular season campaign, we’ve all [...]
WHL Report – February 2020 (feat. Seth Jarvis)
Hello my friends, hello. At the beginning of the season, many draft experts claimed that the WHL wasn't quite the hot bed that last year was. It is tough to follow a year which [...]

August 31-in-31: St. Louis Blues
Top Ten Prospects #1 Ivan Barbashev, C – Chicago Wolves (AHL) Barbashev seems likely to be playing 3C for the Blues with Patrik Berglund injured. He made positive impressions in his stint in the NHL. He is the type of two way center the Blues depend upon to maintain [...]
Prospects Rambling: Alexander Kerfoot/Eeli Tolvanen/Igor Ozhiganov
The Kerfoot watch is over. It seemed a lock for many months that their 2012 fifth-round pick was not New Jersey-bound, trekking the unsigned draftee-UFA path that led ex-Crimson linemate and Predator selection Jimmy Vesey last year to Madison Square Garden, but now that it’s official it’s less a punch [...]

Crazy saves, streaks and Jevpalovs...
Life, school and an annoyingly good Butler have been occupying a ton of my time, but this will be the sixth week of consistent ramblings and the show will go on.
Nicolaj Ehlers is having a historic season, and currently has a 25 game point streak going on. 59 points in 25 games. That is pretty great, and the Jets are thanking the Canucks every night for taking Virtanen and leaving them such a special prospect. Don't get me wrong, it is way too early to predict those two players' NHL careers, but I don't think too many people would take Virtanen (who has 37 points in 29 games, but has been doing better lately) at #6 if we held a redraft tomorrow.

Tell me who the top scoring defenseman was for last year's World Junior's. Didn't think you could.
