Observations:

July 2017- It was an outstanding 2016-17 season for Perlini, one that saw him return as one of the top prospects for the Coyotes. He put up an impressive 14 goals and 19 points in 17 games for Tucson of the AHL, earning a recall to the Coyotes, spending from about mid-January on with the big club. His 21 points in 57 games for Arizona was also impressive, with his 14 goals fifth on the the team despite playing fewer games than most. Perlini seems almost a lock to begin 2017-18 with the Coyotes, where he's expected to play a top-six role with the team. A 20 goal, 40 point season would seem reasonable expectation's heading into the season for the speedy Perlini. Keith Duggan

January 2017- With the Coyotes on their bye week, Perlini was sent to Tucson to get some playing time in. In his one and most likely last AHL game this season, he scored a hat trick. Despite only playing in 17 games, Perlini still leads the Roadrunners in goals. Two days later he was recalled back up to the Coyotes, where Perlini has four goals and one assist in 15 games. Keith Duggan

December 2016- With an impressive start in the AHL, Brendan Perlini has been recalled to the Coyotes. He was named Rookie of the Month for November in the AHL after scoring nine goals and three assists for 12 points in nine games. Perlini notched points in seven consecutive games from November 4th to November 27th, including a six-game goal-scoring streak. He's currently tied for the AHL goal scoring lead despite playing the least amount of games. Keith Duggan

November 2016- It's been an excellent start to Brendan Perlini's first pro season, as his eight goals and five power play markers lead all rookies in the AHL. Along with that, Perlini's eight goals is tied for third in the AHL for all players. After a tough final season of junior, this hot start is very encouraging to see as Perlini works himself into being a quality prospect for the Coyotes once again. Keith Duggan

October 2016- After a under whelming final season of junior, Perlini had a quite camp with the Coyotes and was a early cut. He will begin his first pro year in Tucson of the AHL. Keith Duggan

April 2016- Brendan Perlini has been suspended for three playoff games for a
