Every USHL team has played five to six games at this point in the season. It may still be early in the year, but there have been a few players who have stood out fantasy wise.

Eeli Tolvanen:  Top ten ranked prospect in the 2017 NHL Draft, currently playing for the Sioux City Musketeers and a Boston College commit. Tolvanen has four points in five games, out of the four points, three of them being goals.  Pressures of the draft haven’t got to this player just yet. The young Finnish winger has been a treat to watch this season.

Shane Bowers: Yet another high ranking Draft pick, Bowers had a strong season last year in the USHL racking up 33 points in 56 games. His play continues this season so far with three points in five games. The 17-year-old center is currently sitting at 18th in hockeyprospect.com rankings.

Collin Adams: A sixth round draft pick in 2016, the New York Islanders prospect is a North Dakota commit. Adams had 61 points in 55 games last season. That mark could be reached this season as well, currently at eight points in five games. The left winger shouldn't have much trouble in NCAA hockey next season.

<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>{/source}

Austin Albrecht: An overage player who has truly followed the "American pathway" when it comes to his hockey development. A few years spent in the NAHL, Albrecht enters his first USHL season with eight points in five games. Incredibly active with the puck, he already has 19 shots on goal. He's a UMASS commit, possibly his play will be tested next season when he's not the oldest one on the ice.

Julian Napravnik: The true "dark horse" of the USHL. Being his first season in North America, the German right winger was a force in German junior hockey, putting up 72 points in 39 games for the Jungadler Mannheim U19 team.  With seven points in four games, Napravnik doesn't look to be slowing down. The 19-yearr-old could be a steal in the coming years once he ages out of junior hockey.
