A positionally-sound and controlled netminder who put up excellent results in a full-time KHL role at 20 years of age.
Georgi Romanov
An athletic goaltender with raw skill and moves well from side to side. Needs time to refine his game.
Artem Guryev
A big physical defenseman, offensively limited but could provide value in banger leagues for hits, blocks, and PIMs.
Ivan Morozov
He has all of the tools to become a regular in the NHL, but his offensive upside is still questionable as to whether he can become a top-6 talent.
Arseni Gritsyuk
A pest that will drive opponents nuts and he can create offense for himself out of nothing at times. There is an upside if patient.
Vsevolod Komarov
An offensive defender who is not particularly mobile, but uses strength in the crease defensively. Can be caught chasing plays. Has dramatically improved his offensive game since arriving in North America.
Nikita Susuev
A strong skater with offensive upside, better suited in a top-six role than a bottom-six. Defensively, a work in progress, which may limit his ceiling.
Ilyas Magomedsultanov
A mobile physical defenseman with two-way upside. Offensively raw, he is better known for his defensive play and could develop into a bottom-pairing NHL defenseman.
Ivan Tkach-Tkachenko
A big goaltender who plays aggressively, frequently challenging shooters and has a great glove hand. Needs to work on rebound control and working through screens. A long-term project.
