Fantasy Summary
A strong skater with offensive upside, better suited in a top-six role than a bottom-six. Defensively, a work in progress, which may limit his ceiling.
Observations
September 2025 – The St.Louis Blues signed their 2023 seventh-round pick, Nikita Susuev, to a three-year entry-level contract on September 10, 2025. The 20-year-old forward has spent his entire playing career in Russia. He will move to North America for the 2025-26 season and have the opportunity to develop with the St.Louis Blues AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds.
Susuev is a skilled forward with offensive upside. Throughout his career, he moved frequently in Russia through the KHL, MHL, and VHL, which limited his ability to settle in and find his footing with one team for a prolonged time. He will need to work on his defence and round out his all-around game before he gets an opportunity with the Blues in the NHL.
Susuev does not need to be rostered, but add him to your dynasty league watch list and follow his development with the St.Louis Blues organization. Mark Henry
