Germany
David Lewandowski
A solid all-around player whose shot is his calling card.
Arno Tiefensee
Big German goaltender who moves well for his size and is now starting his North American pro transition, with tandem upside if the reads and night-to-night consistency carry over from his DEL work.
Tobias Krestan
A winger with a legitimate shot, but needs to develop an all-around game to be considered likely to see NHL time.
Nikita Quapp
A big goalie who plays a little passive in his own net. Uses his size to see around screens and also has solid movement for a goalie of his size. Hasn’t gotten a ton of playing time in Germany until this past year.
Luca Münzenberger
Defensively responsible bottom pairing defender with size and solid mobility. Makes simple plays to alleviate pressure and makes a good first pass out of the defensive zone. Does not make much of an impact offensively but has a good point shot.
Julian Lutz
Versatile, energetic two-way forward with some pace and puck skills. Jack-of-all-trades prospect without any particular standout skill — high floor, low ceiling.
Maxim Schäfer
A big-bodied winger who has performed well in the German Junior leagues.
Carlos Händel
A defensive defenseman who has shown minimal offense thus far.
Maksymilian Szuber
The big defenseman sees the ice very well and plays a strong all-around game.
Josh Samanski
A big, talented center whose offensive game is improving as he develops.
