Welcome back to the Thursday prospect ramblings. For the start of 2020, I need a formidable opponent to ask me some prospect questions and what do you know I just happen to have the perfect person at my disposal who is extremely smart. So, get ready for another of my non-scheduled but always entertaining [...]
Tim Stützle, Lukas Reichel and John-Jason Peterka are three 2002-born prospects who are eligible for the 2020 NHL Entry Draft and playing in Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL), the top league in Germany. Stützle seems like a lock for top 10 at this point, and depending on who you ask, Reichel and Peterka are [...]
USNTDP U18 Team prior to a game against the University of Minnesota After the success of last season's record-breaking US National Team Development Program (USNTDP) squad, this season's group hasn't been getting nearly as much attention. While this year's team isn't likely to come close to those records, they still have a lot [...]

I haven't rambled for a while but a couple of days ago, hockey Twitter went a bit nuts because Central Scouting and Craig Button released their latest rankings, and unsurprisingly, there was controversy. We could debate an entire day about Tim Stützle and his position at the top of the European ranking and [...]
Brogan Rafferty In last weeks ramblings I mentioned I was going to see Utica play in Belleville with a close eye on Vancouver Canucks prospect Brogan Rafferty. Brogan Rafferty was as advertised, very impressive. He is the Comets top defenseman on a team with deployment in offensive zone faceoffs, short handed and of course the [...]
