Observations:

November 2017 – With some of the struggles of Oleksiak and Julius Honka, Pateryn has found himself in the lineup the last several games. He’s strictly a depth player on the third defensive pairing. Pateryn is up to over 100 games in the NHL now at 27 years of age, so his developmental phase is likely over. In Montreal he was at least offering fantasy owners some PIM, but that doesn’t seem to be a case in Dallas.
