Observations:

February 2017 – Konecny seems ahead of schedule to return from an injury. As it stands, he may be cleared to return two weeks earlier than expected. He’s likely going to take some time get back up to speed given that it’s a lower-body ailment, so patience ought to be exercised. Those in dynasty leagues would do well to see if they can buy low on the NHL freshman for the long haul. Edric Joseph

February 2017 – As a means to jumpstart the team, Coach Hakstol elected to scratch NHL freshman Travis Konecny against Montreal and Los Angeles this past weekend, but dressed Monday night against the St.Louis Blues. Fantasy owners shouldn’t grow concerned just yet as Konecny has contributed very little towards the team’s recent struggles and remains a nice upside pick for keeper leagues going forward.
