Observations:

July 2017 – The explosive, Czech winger is now the Bruins top goal scoring threat on a tenacious and responsible top line. At only 21-years-old, he should be a fantasy team asset for the next 10 + years taken reasonably high (top 30-40) in year to year drafts. He should constantly flirt with point per game production and eclipse it when surrounded by other A-list talents. Jason Banks

June 2016 – Pastrnak showed significant improvement for the Bruins in his second season in the NHL. Scoring 15 goals and 11 assists, Pastrnak showed several flashes of brilliance last year including his performance for the Czechs at the World Championships. Pastrnak has fantastic scoring potential and elite level skating. An October foot injury limited Pastrnak to only 51 games in the NHL last season, but Pastrnak managed to salvage his year and turn in a very successful second half. Pastrnak is a positive possession player for the Bruins and scored a very respectable 1.27 goals per 60 (2nd highest on the team with significant sample size). Pastrnak would benefit from shooting the puck more often. At 2.11 shots per game, and a scoring clip of 13.9%, Pastrnak was on pace for a respectable 24 goals over the full 82. It is not unreasonable that given a healthy season and the proper opportunity Pastrnak could score 30 goals as early as this year. Michael Drover

September 2015 – Pastrnak tallied two goals in the Bruins' first exhibition game of the year. He has been practicing as a top-six forward in training camp and seems to be a lock to improve on last year's totals (27 points in 46 games) – 20 goals and 50 points in 2015/16 would be fair bet. Wherever you currently have Pastrnak on your draft sheet, consider moving him a bit higher. Michael Boeckler
