October 2014 – Mullin will miss the entire 2014-15 campaign as he continues to recover from an injury sustained last season. This doesn't bode well for Mullin's development. Next year is Mullin's senior season of college hockey, in which he'll have to have a very good season if he wishes to earn an NHL contract. Randall Buschmann

February 2014 – Well into his third year of college hockey, Mullin hasn't been able to make an offensive impact with Miami(Ohio) since his rookie season. Through 19 games, he's tied for 10th on the team with seven points, including only one goal. With Tampa Bay's depth at forward both in the NHL and in Syracuse, plus the fact Mullin continues to struggle putting points on the score sheet indicates a strong likelihood Mullin will return for his senior season of college hockey. Randy Buschmann

May 2013 – Jimmy Mullin followed a somewhat impressive college freshman season with a disappointing sophomore campaign. The speedy forward managed only six goals and 14 points in 38 games, failing to provide much in the offensive side of the game which is his biggest strength. Mullin has a nice set of hands and a good compete level but the knock on him continues to be a lack of strength. Mullin is expected to return for his junior year of college eligibility where he'll have to work extra hard to earn top six ice time. Randy Buschmann

February 2012 – Mullin is an offensively-skilled center with a slight frame. He used his quick hands and good vision to total 26 points in his freshman season at Miami (OH), out-scoring more highly-touted freshman prospects for the Redhawks. Rich Dillon

Fantasy Outlook: D

Mullin has a long way to go in terms of strength to be considered a worthy fantasy prospect even in the deepest of leagues.
