October 2014 – After spending his first pro season primarily in the ECHL, look for Veilleux to spend more time in the AHL this year. He could become a decent depth scorer in the NHL one day with added value in leagues that count hits and PIM but that will not happen for a few years if ever. Eric Daoust


June 2013 – After completing his junior season with 73 points in 65 games, he quickly signed a three year entry level and was assigned to Peoria where he opened his pro career with a trio of points in as many games before slowing down. Veilleux projects as a responsible mid line winger who can contribute and mix it up. It’s expected that he will spend a few years proving he is a capable enough player to make the NHL. Jason Banks
