Shoots: R

Height: 6-1

Weight: 202

Born: 1991-09-13

Hometown:  St-Eustache, QC

Drafted: 2009 by Nashville, 42nd overall

May 2014 – Roussel just completed his first full season in the AHL posting a respectable 17 points in 66 games. Roussel has never really rediscovered the scoring touch that he showed in juniors and at this point he's a longshot to have an impact at the NHL level. At 22 he's already a greybeard when it comes to prospects and with each draft he's falling down the organizational depth chart.

April, 2012- Roussel can fill a lot of different roles, which will help him down the road. He can be the offensive guy or the shutdown man. He put up 40 points for the Sea Dogs this year after struggling offensively last season. He’s also producing in the playoffs, with 13 points in 12 games for the defending champs. Nashville has a deep stable of defenseman so he’s likely to spend a few seasons in the minors.

Fantasy OutlookD-

He's shown an ability to put up points in juniors however he's not likely to be fantasy relevant at the NHL level.
