April, 2012 – Tomas Zaborsky is a lightning-fast winger who has great shot and good hockey sense. He is a pure sniper and can score from any position. He is not a physical player and is not very good defensively. He scored 35 goals in 52 games to win the SM-liiga scoring title this season and won the Lasse Oksanen Award which is given to the best player of regular season voted by players. He will likely move to the KHL next season unless he gets a one-way contract from the NHL.

Has the skills to become an NHL level sniper but will likely play in the KHL in the near future.
