Darren Kramer

Darren Kramer, LW

Shoots: L

Height: 6-2

Weight: 210

Born: 1991-11-19

Hometown: Peace River, AB, Canada

Drafted: 2011 by Ottawa, 156th overall

September 2014 – Darren Kramer will start the season with the Binghamton Senators. At this point it would be optimistic to think that Kramer will see any time with the Senators this season or in the future. Barring an injury to Chris Neil in which the Senators feel they need to add some toughness up front (which still seems like a stretch), Kramer will likely continue to play in Binghamton. Fantasy-wise the Alberta-native doesn’t score or possess a quality plus-minus, but does spend a lot of time in the penalty box. Nathan Martin

March 2014 – Kramer plays limited games and minutes for the Binghamton Senators. In just 31 games this season the 22-year old has just four points (two goals, two assists) and is a minus-10 on a team that is a combined plus-39.  Although Kramer is still very young it is unlikely he will see any time in the NHL with Ottawa. Nathan Martin

August 2012 – Ottawa has signed Kramer to a three year entry level deal. He will begin his apprenticeship in the AHL with the B-Sens, and show off his particular talents with men. The road may be long for Kramer, but a career close to what Chris Neil has made for himself would be a major accomplishment.   Jason Banks

April 2012 – Kramer is a heart and soul player that loves to get in your face. He is probably one of the most fearless fighters in the entire WHL, and he never hesitates to stick up for a teammate. In only two seasons he has racked up over 500 penalty minutes. He was the captain of the Spokane Chiefs this year and he scored 22 goals and 40 total points. Will never be a big scorer, but his tireless work ethic could get him an enforcer role one day. Zenon Herasymiuk

Fantasy Outlook: D-

Fantasy value is limited to only penalty minutes. Will probably spend more time in the box then on the ice.
