A true Swiss Army Knife style player, St. Martin can play in any situation and play alongside bottom-six grinders or top-six scorers. His skating is one of his best attributes and could help him take the next leap in his game. He will need to improve most aspects of his game, especially his consistency, to make the NHL but as a player who went in the sixth round as an overager, St. Martin looks to be a nice upside bet.
A gifted offensive winger with great puck skills and a quick release. Needs to get stronger but has top-six upside at the NHL level.
A diminutive forward who has a crafty skill set and a willingness to get to the net. His playmaking ability is creative and aimed at the middle of the ice. One of the youngest players in the draft class.
A solid two-way winger coming off a big 50 goal campaign with the OHL’s Flint Firebirds. His physical development has brought on some added dimensions to his game. Othmann might be a sneaky multi-cat steal in the fantasy world.
A sniper who can elevate the puck quickly in tight and capitalize on high-danger chances from the slot. He skates well and has a decent all-around skill set but has faced criticism for his sub-standard pace
Hard-hitting winger who goes up and down his side of the ice willingly punishing opponents. His heavy shot punishes goalies, especially when his one-timer doesn’t give them time to get set.
Dual winger/center with bottom-six upside in real life and banger-league upside in fantasy hockey
Highly talented offensive weapon that can impact the game with his shot as well as his passing ability. Needs to become more consistent with his compete level but has the raw skill to be a star in the NHL.
A very talented player who struggles with consistency that has led to his prolonged development, Nylander has the skillset of a potential top-six NHL winger.

Lacks playmaking skills and needs to work on off-puck positioning to avoid becoming a one-dimensional goal scorer. Proper development could turn one of the best pure shooters of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft into a high-floor/high-ceiling top-six elite goal-scoring power forward with PP1 and PK usage.
