Smooth-skating two-way defenseman with above-average compete, smarts and puck-retrieving abilities. Needs to round out his offensive toolkit to ensure a top-four future.
Lukas Cormier
A well-rounded left-handed defenseman, who is an efficient puck mover.
Scott Morrow
A mobile, right-shot defender who can control the game in all three zones. He has all of the tools that the modern-day defenseman needs but concerns because he plays prep are present.
William Wallinder
A puck-rushing defenseman with great size and skating ability, he lacks offensive upside but has good puck skills and a decent shot. Needs to improve defensively and with his decision-making; projects as a third-pair defenseman with second-pair upside.
Antti Tuomisto
A big, right-handed defenseman who skates well and has a heavy shot from the point. Likely tops out as an AHL defenseman who might get an occasional call-up due to injury.
Brian Zanetti
A mobile puck-moving defenseman who can take care of the defensive end of the ice. Lacks offensive upside.
Jonathan Myrenberg
A puck-moving, right-shot defender, with a solid frame and an offensive mindset.
Isaac Belliveau
An organizational depth defenseman, likely to stay in the minors. There is no fantasy value.
Anton Olsson
Agile defender with good closing speed and an active stick. Sometimes struggles to move the puck under pressure but has potential as a bottom pairing defensive blue liner.
Carter Sotheran
Transition specialist with surprising mobility and intelligence for his size. Developing consistency is key, but could be a fringe second-pair defenceman down the line.
