Defensemen
Logan Mailloux
Big-bodied right-shot defenseman with a pro-level shot, and high intensity.
Dmitri Simashev
Defensively minded blueliner with a great combination of size and mobility. Will need to develop more creativity with the puck on his stick but has proven to be a reliable defender.
Gustav Stjernberg
Big, mean defenseman who crosses lines and racks up PIMs
Matthew Lahey
A towering defenseman who already has the size and work ethic, with proper development, could make it to the NHL. A long-term project that is well off the fantasy radar.
Topi Niemelä
Reliable and smart two-way defenseman who will join the rush and get involved offensively. May struggle to find playing time in North America due to size.
Roman Schmidt
Smart defender with good first passes. Decent two way game, but not much that pops out on either side of the ice.
Ville Ottavainen
A towering defensive defenseman with minimal offense.
Jake Furlong
Reliable two-way defender who moves the puck efficiently. Has potential as a bottom-of-the-lineup NHL defenseman.
Nolan Allan
A sturdy defender who excels in his own end. He brings some solid mobility and can move the puck up ice to his teammates but he is still quite raw in the offensive zone. He can 'pop' at times but it's infrequent at this stage of his development.
Saige Weinstein
Feisty puck-moving defenseman with an active shot
