Centers

Alexandre Doucet

The Detroit Red Wings signed the undrafted Alexandre Doucet after a strong fourth and final season in the QMJHL. His 59 points in 34 games for the Halifax Mooseheads after the trade bested his 53 points in 34 games with Val-d'Or. He's a scorer with a great shot and nose for the net. While some of the goals he scores in junior won't fly in the professional ranks, he has a quick release and slick enough hands in tight to be able to translate his scoring. His next season in the AHL will be huge for his future projection. In the end, I don't think he will be a massive fantasy producer, but for those in deep leagues, he is worth a flier.

Jakub Demek

A big bodied winger with a lot of tools and some experience playing center. Skates well for his size. His shot needs to improve to play on the outside, but he has the potential to be a solid two-way, middle-six forward who hits at the NHL level if he can speed his game up a tick.

Jacob Peterson

Peterson is skilled and consistent in almost every facet of the game. His two-way game is developing to North American ice quickly, and his shot is a threat from anywhere in the offensive zone.

Caedan Bankier

Strong power forward with great size, which could be beneficial at the NHL level. He battles well along the boards and has strong puck-possession skills.

Matvei Guskov

Guskov is a 200-foot player who has had his role limited on a strong London Knights squad. He flashes offensive tools but consistency and opportunity are an issue at the moment.

Hunter Haight

Two-way forward who can play in all situations. Has a decent release and good vision in the offensive zone. Potential as a top-nine forward who can provide secondary scoring at the NHL level.
