September 2026 – The 6-4, 218-pound Swedish right-shot defenseman posted 12 points (two goals, 10 assists) and 61 penalty minutes in 36 U20 Nationell games with HV71, then added five assists in 10 relegation-round games. Leander is heading to the Calgary Hitmen (WHL) for 2026-27. He profiles as a defensive, physical defenseman. His frame is already pro-sized, and the penalty minutes suggest he plays with an edge.
