Observations:
February, 2015 – Mr. Irrelevant 2010 is very relevant in 2015. Trotman has played 17 games with the Bruins this year and though he's now playing in Providence, will be one of the first call ups if Boston needs another D-man. Trotman is growing into more of a shut-down defenseman, and will likely be much more valuable on the ice than in fantasy. Michael Boeckler
September, 2013 – The final pick of the 2010 draft, Trotman has impressed with his development in Providence last year before a concussion slowed his progress. He is an intelligent, strong defenseman with above-average skating and passing skills. Initially seen as a stay-at-home defender, Trotman has shown some offensive flair as his career has progressed. He could see some playing time in Boston this year should the Bruins get hit with a few injuries. Michael Boeckler

Fantasy Outlook: C-
Trotman is entering a key year in his hockey career. Though far from a top prospect, he could get a long look at training camp.
