Well well well, look who came back to my ramblings. Welcome, let’s discuss some recent news, notes, and signings
*********
Just before the draft (April 30, 2018) it was reported that Denisenko had two years left on his contract:
{source}<blockquote class=”twitter-tweet” data-lang=”en”><p lang=”en” dir=”ltr”>Grigori Denisenko told me ‘almost every’ NHL team contacted him. He’ll come for draft combine. He has 2 years left in his contract</p>— Igor Eronko (@IgorEronko) <a href=”https://twitter.com/IgorEronko/status/991125426696269825?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>May 1, 2018</a></blockquote>{/source}
Early yesterday morning Denisenko had terminated his initial contract, BUT do not fret as all he did was sign a new two-year deal with Yaroslavl Lokomotiv. Once his KHL contract is completed you can expect him to cross the Atlantic and head to the NHL.

Previous one was terminated</p>— Igor Eronko (@IgorEronko) <a href=”https://twitter.com/IgorEronko/status/1024639929677217792?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>August 1, 2018</a></blockquote>{/source}
In two years Denisenko should be able to step into a top six role easily, but you can expect him to be in the top nine as the Panthers are pretty deep right now and still have not made room for Tippett.
Barring Tallon giving away two other top line forwards to Seattle, the Pathers should be a competitive skilled team for the foreseeable future, but honestly how long have we said that for? The Panthers just need to hope Tallon doesn’t screw it up any more than he did last off season
