Observations:

March 2017- After a slow start to the season offensively, Dvorak's game has begun to come around. The young center has scored nine points in 13 games during February, bringing up his total to 10 goals and 22 points in 58 games. With Martin Hanzal now traded to Minnesota, Dvorak looks to benefit with more playing and power play time. A plus -5 on a 29th placed team in the NHL is also an impressive stat as Dave Tippett has praised his 200-foot game and his responsible play. Keith Duggan

November 2016- With an injury to Martin Hanzal, Dvorak was recalled back to the Coyotes, never appearing in a game with Tucson. In the three games since returning, he's collected a goal and assist. Keith Duggan

October 2016- Dvorak has been reassigned to Tucson of the AHL, after collecting three assists in seven games with Arizona. This assignment probably won't be long. The team expects to use its AHL affiliate to keep younger players who are AHL eligible in game shape by shuttling them back and forth when they are not in the NHL lineup. Dvorak's assignment likely means the Coyotes will give Dylan Strome a long look over the next few games to decide whether to return him to juniors or keep him in the NHL. Keith Duggan

October 2016- Not only has Dvorak made the Coyotes roster but he is slated to center the team's second line between Tobias Rieder and Anthony Duclair on opening night against Philadelphia. Keith Duggan

October 2016- Christian Dvorak is in the midst of a very strong preseason for the Coyotes and is pushing hard for a spot on the team's opening night roster. His play as been impressive at both ends of the ice and he's been nearly a point per game pace in the preseason. Keith Duggan

June 2016- Dvorak capped off his junior career as he and his teammates finished off a spectacular season by winning the Memorial Cup. He finished with an eye-popping 12 points in four Memorial Cup games, second behind line mate Mitch Marner, and led the tournament in goals with seven. In the final against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, Dvorak assisted on the first goal and converted the game-tying goal late in the third to force overtime. While the overtime winner was credited to Mathew Tkachuk, his shot actually caromed off Dvorak's stick, either way he was on the ice for all three London goals. He's ready for the next step, it could be on the wing but Dvorak will definitely contend for a spot with the Coyotes in 2016-17. Keith Duggan

May 2016- Christian Dvorak and his London Knight teammates have swept the Niagara IceDogs in the OHL finals and will head to Red Deer, Alberta to compete in the MasterCard Memorial Cup. Dvorak has had a dominant playoff's, registering a point in all but one of his 18 games and eight of them were multi-point games. He finished third in OHL playoff scoring with 14 goals and 35 points in 18 games, behind his linemates Mitch Marner and Mathew Tkachuk. His London Knights have been almost unstoppable setting a OHL record with 13 straight playoff wins and haven't lost since April 1st in the first round. Keith Duggan

April 2016- With an excellent 2015-16 season behind him, Chistian Dvorak isn't done yet as he's been tearing it up in the OHL playoff's. He led the OHL in goals with 52 and was second in points at 121 during the regular season. Along with all the offense Dvorak also plays a very strong two-way game for the London Knights. WIth 10 goals and 26 points in 14 playoff games,  Dvorak and his London teammates have now reached the OHL finals, sweeping the Erie Otters and holding fellow Coyote prospect Dylan Strome to just three assists. Keith Duggan

December 2015- Going into Team USA's National Junior Selection Camp Christian Dvorak was on fire, being named the OHL and CHL Player of the Week after scoring seven points in two games. This hot streak climbed him to first in the OHL in points, second in goals and fourth in assists. Dvorak was oddly not even invited last year. He proved what a mistake that was as Dvorak had an outstanding camp, proving to be one of the top players and was named to the 2016 U.S, National Junior Team. When the tournament is all said and done, it won't be surprising to see Dvorak's name as one of the top scorers. Keith Duggan

November 2015- Christian Dvorak has been named OHL player of the week ending November 29th. He scored six goals and nine points in three games, helping the London Knights win all three games. Dvorak has points in 12-straight games now and is second in OHL scoring with 22 goals and 49 points in 22 games. Keith Duggan

November 2015- To what should be to no one's surprise, Christian Dvorak is having another outstanding season in the OHL. He is currently fourth in OHL scoring with 16 goals and 40 points in just 19 games and is second in points per game. His dynamic line with Mitch Marner and Mathew Tkachuk is one of the hottest in the league right now. An early season highlight for Dvorak, on November 7th he scored five goals in a game, tying a London Knights record. Keith Duggan

September 2015- After a solid development and training camp with the Coyotes, Christian Dvorak was assigned to London of the OHL, for most likely his final junior season. Arizona felt another season in the OHL will be better for his development much like it was for fellow Coyote prospect and former Knight teammate Max Domi. Dvorak should get a chance to play for Team USA during the World Junior Tournament. With teammate Mitch Marner being assigned from the Toronto Maple Leafs to London on the same day, it makes the Knight's a instant contender again and Dvorak will be one of the top players in the OHL. Keith Duggan

April 2015- After putting together an excellent 2014-15 season for the London Knights, the Coyotes have signed Christian Dvorak, their 2014 second round pick, to an three -year entry-level contract. He finished fifth in the OHL in points with a line of 41-68-109. Dvorak also had five goals and 13 points in 10 postseason games with the Knights. He will now join the Portland Pirates of the AHL and hopefully get in a few games with them before the 2014-15 season is over. Keith Duggan

February 2015- With an assist against the Kitchener Rangers on Feb. 24th, Christian Dvorak became the third OHLer to hit 100 points this season on 38 goals, 62 assists in 56 games. Keith Duggan

February 2015- For the second consecutive month, Christian Dvorak has been named the OHL Player of the Month. Dvorak kept up his torrid pace, recording 28 points including 10 goals and 18 assists in 12 January games. He started the month off hot with a six point game, then went on to score points in 10 of 12 January contests, recording multi-point totals in eight of them. Dvorak currently sits third in the OHL in points with 90 (35-55-90) in 46 games with a plus-minus rating of plus -38. Keith Duggan

January 2015- Christian Dvorak has been named OHL Player of the Month for December after recording 26 points(10 goals and 16 assists) in 10 games. Keith Duggan

December 2014- The Ontario Hockey League has announced that Christian Dvorak has been named Player of the Week for the week ending December 14th after recording 12 points in three games, with six goals and six assists. The second straight London Knight and Arizona Coyote prospect to earn the award(Max Domi won the week before), Dvorak recorded three multi-point performances, helping his club win all three games. Dvorak seemed a bit of a risk as a second round pick last summer after missing most of 2013-14 season, but now the choice is making the Coyotes brass look like geniuses. In his second OHL season, he's currently fourth in scoring with 53 points in 30 games, including 22 goals and 31 assists. Keith Duggan

June 2014- Christian Dvorak was selected by the Arizona Coyotes in the second round, 58th overall in the 2014 NHL entry draft. Keith Duggan

June 2014 – It was tough luck for Christian Dvorak as his debut season unfolded, after he suffered a season-ending ACL injury just as he was finding his comfort zone. The injury was more than just physically damaging as Dvorak journeyed to the OHL in his draft season hoping to gain exposure on a Memorial Cup bound London Knights team. Lucky for Dvorak, he was able to return to compete in the Memorial Cup and show the scouts that he can still play a smart two-way game. Dvorak didn’t have a lot of opportunity to showcase his skill or gain any momentum but he certainly showed some creative flair. Considered a bit of a wildcard for the 2014 NHL Draft, Dvorak should find himself drafted despite the string of bad luck with injuries. Brendan Ross
