Observations:

October 2015 – Pearson was a victim of the Kings' early struggles, as he was moved off his regular line with Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli. He hasn't proven the ability to carry a scoring line yet, so the speedy winger needs to be grouped with skilled players to be productive. With just one goal in nine games, he might be a solid buy-low candidate; recently, he has been playing with Anze Kopitar. Sheng Peng

September 2015 – Heading into October, Pearson appears to have recovered fully from his broken leg. If the speedy winger can stay healthy, his elite linemates (Carter and Toffoli) should help him threaten the 20-goal mark. Sheng Peng

February 2015 – Hope reigns for Pearson's return (broken leg) before the playoffs. However, outstanding production shouldn't necessarily be expected. His current 17.6 Sh % sits well above his career 11.0 (AHL/NHL) before this season, so expect some regression. Before his injury, he might have been a sell-high candidate. Sheng Peng

January 2014- Tanner Pearson got his first taste of regular season NHL hockey this season when he was called up for six games. He is leading the AHL’s Manchester Monarchs in goals (11) but managed just one point with the Kings (1-0-1). If Pearson’s debut year in the AHL was a good one (19-28-47), this season may be disappointing to some as his numbers are on pace to fall short of that. One area which has seen great strides is his on-ice focus and leadership. Some scouts would like to see him bulk up more, especially for the next level but his intensity and hunger for the game has seen vast improvement. Hopefully his six game stint with the Kings will fuel that desire even further. For now, it’s time to see how he performs on his first place Monarchs squad. Pete Richmire

May 2013 – Tanner spent most of the year with the Manchester Monarchs, where he managed to net 19 goals and picked up 28 assists in 64 regular season games . Pearson had one assist in the Monarchs's first-round playoff loss as-well. On May 18th, Game 3 of the NHL Western Conference semi-finals, Tanner Pearson made his NHL debut with the LA Kings sporting the #70 jersey. He logged 5 minutes and 44 seconds of ice-time as the club's 4th line left-winger. The Kings head coach Darryl Sutter said after the game he would have given Pearson more ice-time but the game which resulted in, a 2-1 overtime loss, called for other circumstances. Jimmy Tarzia

August, 2012 – The Los Angeles Kings have inked Tanner Pearson to a three year entry level contract. It's expected that Pearson will turn professional this season after finishing third in OHL scoring in 2011-12. Brendan Ross

June, 2012 – Tanner Pearson became the first overage player drafted in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft after the Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings used their 30th overall pick to select the Barrie Colts' late bloomer. Brendan Ross

February, 2012 – Currently in his second season as a member of the Barrie Colts, Tanner Pearson was overlooked in the 2010 and 2011 NHL Entry Drafts but will likely hear his name called in 2012. A slick playmaker who is equally adept shooting the puck, the late-blooming Pearson has been among the top five OHL scorers for nearly the entire 2011-12 campaign. John Canario

Fantasy Outlook: A-

Second-line speedster whose reckless style of play may see him on the DL a few times.
