Observations:
April 2013 – Acolaste had a solid season with 21 points in 50 games. He was overshadowed by the highly touted Matt Tennyson and this limited his quality ice time. It would be nice if he scored more goals, but had he played a full season he might have had a more respectable number than the four goals he notched. He is still fairly young and could fight for a roster spot with San Jose in training camp. This does, however, depend on the moves the Sharks make this offseason, of which many are expected. December 2012 – Sena is a strong skater who can jump into the offensive rush and deliver strong passes out of the zone. Currently, he is the highest scoring defenseman on the Worchester Sharks, even above the likes of Tennyson, Doherty, and Petrecki. He is, however, a minus 4 on the season. His forte is clearly the powerplay as he is leading the attack from the backend there for the Sharks. At the time of this writing, he has 4 goals and 12 assists in 25 games. Acolatse also has an explosive side to his game in the sense that he has no problem getting in scraps and throwing his body around to make an impact on the games momentum. Tim Graveline
Fantasy Outlook: D+
If he can refine his play in the defensive zone he has a shot at being a decent scoring third pairing defenseman.
