Observations:

January 2016 – Anderson has taken a huge step forward since his last update. This season in the AHL, he has accumulated 18 points in 26 games, along with 58 PIMs. This led to a short stint with the big club where Anderson put up two assists in three games. At six-three, 220 pounds, the Jackets are crossing their fingers that they possess a future power forward. Chris Bagwell

April 2014 – Anderson continues to improve in his third season with the London Knights of the OHL. After putting up 49 points in 68 games last season, Anderson was able to rack up 51 points in just 59 games. He was a plus-31 with 81 PIMs. Anderson also contributed nine points in as many playoff games this year. At the World Junior Championships, he put up one assist in seven contests.  Chris Bagwell

December 2013 – The Columbus Blue Jackets will send a pair of Canadian forward prospects to Malmo, Sweden in Josh Anderson and Kerby Rychel as both skaters were named to Team Canada's final roster. Brendan Ross

November 2013 – Anderson, who signed his entry-level contract with Columbus on November 5^th, brings a trait that has been rather uncommon for Blue Jackets players in years past – winning. He is in his third year suiting up for the London Knights and has already won two OHL championships thus far. Through 15 games, he has a statline of seven goals, eight assists for 15 points, which ranks third on his team in scoring. He also has five power play goals which is first among Knights and he’s not afraid to mix it up, leading his team in penalty minutes (37).
