An impressively dynamic player for his size, Shlaine is all offence and no defence. He has the puck on his stick often, driving offense himself rather than through his teammates. He has a slim chance of becoming an elite playmaker, but odds are this pick is one to forget.
Zach Schulz
A shut-down defenseman who thrives through his positional play and managing his gaps on the rush. Skates very well and makes the smart, easy plays first. His play does not excite the casual viewer but impacts games in ways that do not shine as brightly on the score sheet. He will not score 50 points in a season, but he is a tight-checking player who can offer minimal value in deeper category leagues, including hits and/or blocks.
Quinn Finley
Hard-working speedster who can make plays or score and loves to push the pace. If he gets stronger and heavier as well as improving his commitment to defense, he could become a solid, contributing middle-six NHLer.
Hagen Burrows
A big, slow, offense-minded forward who can snipe corners and set up his teammates. Poor skating is holding him back, but if appropriately addressed, he could become a solid middle-six option and power play contributor.
