High-motor forward with natural athletic abilities and a knack for middle drives. Limited puck skills, but projects as a top-nine energy winger.
Tyler Boucher
Boucher plays a physical game and willingly goes to the dirty areas. He has a good shot that he can get off from in tight. Boucher has the potential to evolve into a power forward at the NHL level.
Zack Ostapchuk
Physical forward with a powerful stride and slick stickhandling ability. Could be a solid top-6 contributor in the correct scenario.
Angus Crookshank
High offensive instincts cannot be denied, as he always seems to be in the right spot at the right time. Solid shot and hands in tight. Not a super well rounded game, but if he gets put in a favourable situation in Ottawa with strong linemates, he could present moderate value in PPR leagues focusing on point production.
Scott Ratzlaff
Aggressive netminder with quick feet and good reflexes. Needs to work on his awareness and technique, but has enough interesting physical tools to potentially become a fringe starter.
Ryerson Leenders
An smaller, acrobatic goalie that makes his saves through great reflexes and efficient movement.
Christian Humphreys
Intelligent distributor with some of the best passing foundations in the draft. Needs a lot of work, especially pace and energy-wise. Boom-or-bust with second-line upside.
Colton Roberts
Smooth-skating defensive defenseman who can make the occasional strong breakout pass. Lacks offensive pop and struggles against the rush, but projects as a solid bottom-pair NHLer.
Raoul Boilard
Faceoff specialist with great hockey sense, a strong motor and decent playmaking. Physical game and skating need work, but has upside as a middle-six defensive centre.
Nicholas Kempf
Technically-sound netminder with great footwork. Lacks composure and puts himself in situations that require sprawling saves, but has upside as an occasional starter.
