A big, physical winger who plays a strong, powerful game. Does not offer much offensively. Has some value in the deeper league, which values hits and PIMs.
Tuomas Uronen
A strong, power winger who drives pucks to the net, protects the puck well, and has a quick and hard release.
Nikita Grebyonkin
Playmaking winger with great vision and puck skills to complement a projectable frame. Will have to improve his stride and defensive game but has potential as a long-term project.
William Dufour
A power forward reminiscent of Cal Clutterbuck, Dufour fits the Islanders’ hit-anything mentality. His willingness to help defensively qualifies him for the bottom six, although a knack for scoring could lift him higher.
Logan Stankoven
A feisty undersized forward with one of the best shots in the 2021 NHL Draft. He plays a high-motor game with the offensive skill to burn teams.
Justin Brazeau
Big-bodied goal scorer, middle-six upside. On an AHL contract, meaning he is an NHL UFA.
Chase Stillman
Energy forward with alluring two-way elements and middle-six offensive upside.
Tristen Robins
Edgy, versatile forward with good hands and a solid release.
Herman Träff
A powerforward with decent hands and motor whose flashes of skill need to find more consistency.
