Hughes has possesses the offensive attributes of a potential top-9 NHL player, but will need to hone his defensive play, and become more consistent before that will translate to a realistic possibility.

A highly skilled, creative winger with a good work rate off the puck. Needs to improve his ability to play through traffic but has the potential to grow into a top-six forward in the NHL.
Ryan Francis
A silky smooth playmaker who reads the ice at an advanced level. He has some warts away from the puck as with most small wingers but if a team is willing to bank on his skill, they could get a solid winger who excels with a good triggerman.
Miko Matikka
Big-bodied power forward with a powerful shot and a solid offensive toolkit with good passing abilities. Injuries have slowed down his development, could be a good, versatile NHL player if he continues to develop.
Gleb Trikozov
Well-rounded, intelligent offensive player with a heavy shot and good vision. Has the potential to develop into a solid middle-six forward in the NHL.
Olivier Nadeau
A playmaker who demonstrates moments of power and control, but whose vision and line-driving elements continue to be a work in progress.
Tye Felhaber
Goal-scoring forward with a high-end shot and good skill to match. Felhaber projects as a solid top nine forward who can bring additional value as a trigger man on the powerplay.
Martin Rysavy
Two-way forward who possesses decent hands. Hard player to knock off the puck, but one main concern surrounding his game is his skating ability.

A bit raw at this point, plays a gritty and tenacious style. Good shot and makes smart passes in the offensive zone. Good complementary winger on a scoring line.
