A large goaltender with a good pedigree in the lower tiers. Worth watching his development at higher levels of hockey before investing.
Danai Shaiikov
An athletic goalie who had better individual numbers than his win/loss record would imply. Raw netminder with more development required.
Akira Schmid
Schmid has surprised many with his early burst onto the North American scene. He has a long way to go but early impressions have been very good.
Dmitri Ivchenko
A mature, technically refined goaltender with a wide butterfly flare and reliable tracking.
Dmitri Borichev
Big, athletic Russian netminder whose calling card is high-end puck tracking and a quick glove. The early favorite to be the first goalie off the board in 2026, with the usual MHL-sample caveat attached.
Sergei Ivanov
Diminutive but quick and athletic Russian goalie. His quickness and agility makes up for his short stature, and early results in the KHL look fantastic. Time will tell if he makes the jump to North America.
Tobias Trejbal
A tall goaltender with excellent hip mobility and impressive footwork and leg drive.
Isak Posch
Successful NCAA netminder with prerequisite size but a short track record.
