Intelligent two-way defenceman with a budding offensive game. Improvements in his skating could see him become a reliable second-pairing blue-liner.
Viggo Gustafsson
A reliable defensive specialist who moves well and has bottom-pairing upside.
Alexander Siryatsky
Smart defensive player who has decent playmaking potential. Needs to work on using his shot more effectively.
Luke Hughes
A smooth-skating defender with a projectable frame, Hughes is going to put up some points and will be a premier powerplay quarterback for the NTDP.
Ethan Edwards
Elite skater with impressive offensive tools (passing, shooting, stickhandling) - must work on his D-zone effort and positioning to make the jump. Physicality will always be a weakness, but could end up being a bottom-four puck-moving blueliner if things go well. Fantasy leagues with emphasis on points for D-men will likely benefit from this prospect if he makes the NHL.
Daniil Misyul
Misyul shows some good speed and ability to rush the puck which could translate at higher levels.
Michael Vukojevic
Vukojevic could be a bit of a force if everything develops right -- the ability to shoot and hit the puck is high.
Yegor Zaitsev
A versatile bruiser that can hold his own on offense and defense. Needs to develop further to stand out from the pack.
Kevin Bahl
At this point Bahl seems more of a defensive defenseman and doesn't offer much fantasy wise other than in leagues that count stats like hits, blocked shots and penalty minutes.
Matvei Shuravin
A large defenseman that can skate well and shut down opponents at a high level. His offensive and transition game are in question but considering his strong skating foundation Shuravin could develop into a competent middle-pairing defenseman who can pitch in offensively.
