Defensemen
A giant 6-6 defenseman who plays physical and hits everything he can. Is good on defense and shows deception in his offensive game. Has a heavy slapshot and quick release. Agility and skating are poor, which is by far his limiting factor. Could hold value in deep dynasty leagues that account for PIM. Will be a long-term project.
A transitional defenseman who is always looking to create when the puck is on his stick. Needs to improve his skating and develop more consistency throughout his game.
An average-sized defenseman who can create offence with an above-average shot and pro-ready one-timer. Has NHL skill and mobility but lacks hockey sense. Needs to develop on both sides of the puck; the offence is ahead of the defence. Has the potential to make an impact in all three zones and the upside to become a number three puck-moving defenseman.
Smooth-skating two-way defenseman with above-average compete, smarts and puck-retrieving abilities. Needs to round out his offensive toolkit to ensure a top-four future.
Big and strong, but skates well for a big guy. Showing signs of being a future PP weapon, but doesn’t ignore defense. Could be more physical. Potentially a top-four NHL blueliner.
Solid skating from the blueline as well as strong character and a good work ethic, although offensive numbers have eluded him.
Towering, mobile left-handed defenseman with great poise and tools. Needs to rein in the offensive aggression, but can develop into a unique second-pair blue-liner.
Smart defender with good first passes. Decent two way game, but not much that pops out on either side of the ice.
Mobile blue liner with a potent physical edge, Crozier projects as a two-way puck-moving defenseman that likely tops out as a third pairing defender.
