Fantasy Summary

A big defensively responsible center that is great at faceoffs with underrated offensive ability.

Observations

March 2026 – Washe has taken the role as the Ducks faceoff specialist, and winning nearly 58% of faceoffs is a good way to secure that role. Frequently rotating between the 4th line and 13th forward, his playing time is rather limited. Washe gets a very good amount of hits for his playing time, good blocks as a forward, and that is about it. If he can establish himself as a lineup regular, he could be a depth player in Rotisserie formats. If you play ROTO, take a look at Washe next season, there could be something here worth a roster spot (…or at least a streamer spot). Markus R

August 2025 – The Anaheim Ducks signed Washe to a two-year contract, and he is expected to compete for a bottom-six center position with the NHL club in training camp. Named the NCHC Defensive Forward of the Year playing for Western Michigan of the NCAA in 2024-25, Washe would be an excellent addition for the Ducks as they attempt to stabilize their defensive structure towards an eventual playoff push. Look for Washe to help with faceoffs, hits, and blocks in your fantasy league if he can lock down a bottom-six role for the Ducks in 2025-26. Ioan Gheordanescu

April 2025 – The Anaheim Ducks signed a one-year, entry-level contract that expires at the end of the 2024-25 season. Mark Henry
