Rylan Fellinger

September 2026 – Fellinger returns for his fourth OHL campaign with Flint after posting 16 points in 65 games last year – a career year that nonetheless underlines the limitations of his profile. The 6-4 stay-at-home defender uses his size and reach effectively to protect the middle of the ice, and his defensive habits have steadily improved. Puckhandling and skating deficiencies limit his upside and leave real questions about translation to higher levels. His final OHL year will need to show meaningful growth before a college or AHL path is viable for Fellinger. Ryan Downey

Standing at 6-4, Fellinger is a pure defense-minded defenseman who uses his reach to get the inside track on defending, making it hard for defenders to take the middle of the ice or cut to the outside without dumping the puck.
