Observations
August 2025 – Playing for the University of New Hampshire of the NCAA in 2024-25, MacPherson registered an underwhelming two points in 18 games. Although offensive production is certainly not the expectation of him at higher levels, MacPherson will need to produce considerably more in the NCAA to receive an AHL or NHL contract when he finishes his college career. July 2023 – The Philadelphia Flyers selected MacPherson in the sixth round, 172nd overall, in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. MacPherson played the 2022-23 season with the Leamington Flyers of the GOJHL (Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League); he had 61 points (25 goals and 36 assists) in 49 games. MacPherson will spend his 2023-24 season with the Penticton Vees before joining the University of New Hampshire in the 2024-25 season. Mark Henry
