August 2025 – Misskey had his negotiation rights retained by the San Jose Sharks by June 1, 2025. The 20-year-old defenseman played in 63 regular-season games for the Victoria Royals in the Western Hockey League during the 2024-25 season, producing 47 points (10 goals and 37 assists) along with a plus-24 rating. He also played in 11 WHL playoff games and produced six assists for the Royals. Misskey will play in the NCAA during the 2025-26 campaign as he is committed to the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
