June 2022 – Parik put together a benchmark season in his first full year in North America, posting a solid .915 save percentage and a 2.69 GAA over 32 games for the Rapid City Rush of the ECHL. His playoffs did not lack dramatics either, staving off elimination multiple times and backstopping the Rush to a quarter-finals appearance in the Kelly Cup playoffs. Coming off a one-year minor league deal, the organization will have to decide what to do for Parik’s next contract. The Slovak netminder should compete for the backup role in Ontario, but with a few young goalies in the pipeline, Parik will have his work cut out for him as he makes a push for the promotion. December 2020 – The Czech goaltender has been on loan this season playing in his native Czech Republic awaiting the WHL season to commence.
