Observations

August 2025 – Joey Larson wrapped up his collegiate career with a 10 goal, 14 assist effort for Michigan State, and is poised to join the Bridgeport Islanders in the upcoming season. An undrafted winger standing 6-1 and weighing in at 196 pounds, one could see Larson earning a spot in the middle six and chipping in with supplementary offense. His NCAA career showed he has the potential to put pucks in the net as a secondary contributor, and with the right development, he could compete for a third line role with the big club in the coming years. At present, he is not much more than a watchlist candidate to see if he can find some traction in Bridgeport. Alex Wyatt
