Observations

August 2025- Määttä completed his NCAA career with 23 goals and 33 assists for 56 points in 129 games. His 2024-2025 effort of nine goals and 18 assists in 35 games marked his best season at the collegiate level; however, it was not enough to earn a contract with the Edmonton Oilers by August 15, 2025. It appears Määttä is set to skate with TPS of the Liiga next year, where the physical forward will continue his development playing against men in a professional setting. Alex Wyatt
