September 2026 – Fibigr continued his impressive development in 2025-26, splitting the season between Brampton and Windsor before helping the Spitfires reach the OHL postseason. He combined for 10 goals and 40 points in 56 regular-season games and added three goals and nine assists in 13 playoff contests. The 2024 seventh-round pick also represented Czechia at the World Junior Championship, serving as an alternate captain and winning a silver medal. Fibigr will take the next step in his development at Ohio State in 2026-27, where he will join the NCAA after three seasons in the OHL. He remains unsigned by Seattle, but the college route gives the Kraken additional time to retain his rights while he develops against older competition. Jayd Serdy

June 2025- Fibigr skated for the Brampton Steelheads as an OHL sophomore for the 2024-2025 season. He managed three goals and 30 assists for 33 points in 58 games. Not billed for his offensive output, Fibigr sat second in blueline scoring for a Steelheads squad that boasted Porter Martone and fellow Kraken prospect Carson Rehkopf. He has shown himself as a more than capable point-provider, but will likely feature as more of a middle-six, defensively capable rearguard for the Kraken. Regardless of where the offensive output at higher levels ends up, the Kraken made the most of their seventh-round draft pick in the 2024 draft. Due to turn 19 this summer, he will likely continue to gain experience in the OHL again this upcoming season before joining the Firebirds in the next few seasons. Alex Wyatt
