Jack Williams

September 2026 – Williams was one of Cleveland’s more encouraging surprises in 2025-26, producing 15 goals and 38 points in all 72 regular-season games during his first full professional season. The 24-year-old also recorded six game-winning goals, including four overtime winners, which led the AHL. His consistency and versatility earned praise from Cleveland’s coaching staff. Columbus signed Williams to a two-year, two-way contract extension through 2027-28. He enters the 2026-27 season looking to build on his strong first professional season and push for more NHL opportunities. Jayd Serdy

September 2025 – Signed as an NCAA free agent last spring, Williams appeared in one game for Columbus in the 2024-25 season after scoring 41 points in 37 games for Northeastern University (NCAA) during the winter. The winger will get a good chance to see where he stacks up during 2025 training camp but could be headed to Cleveland (AHL) to start his professional hockey career. Chris Babos

March 2025 – The Columbus Blue Jackets signed Jack Williams to a two-year, entry-level contract beginning with the 2024-25 season. He is expected to report to the Blue Jackets.
