Edison Engle

October 2026 – After proving himself as an effective blueliner on the powerhouse Brantford Bulldogs of the OHL last season, Engle makes his move to the NCAA, joining Western Michigan University. Former Bulldog teammate Adam Benak will be a familiar face in the dressing room, though Engle and Benak will be called upon to fill different roles.

Though offense was easy to come by when on the ice in Brantford, Engle is unlikely to approach his OHL line of three goals and 25 assists in 61 games at the collegiate level. A competent puck mover in his own right, Engle will need to acclimate to the NCAA game and establish himself as an offensive go-to over the next two seasons for us to be able to consider him for our fantasy rosters in the near future.

A watchlist in deeper dynasty leagues, but at present, the fantasy opportunity for Engle is not obvious. Alex Wyatt

August 2025 – The Winnipeg Jets selected Edison Engle in the 6th round (188th overall) of the 2025 NHL Draft. After a season and a half in the USHL with the Des Moines Buccaneers & Dubuque Fighting Saints. Engle signed with the Ontario Hockey League’s Brantford Bulldogs on June 28, 2025, and will play in the OHL during the 2025-26 season before heading to Ohio State University for the 2026-27 season. His late-round pedigree and expected time of arrival leave him well off the fantasy radar in all leagues, including deep dynasty leagues. Mark Henry
